AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGEKite technology is green technology, harnessing the wind to perform tasks. Alexander Graham Bell was an early Nova Scotian pioneer in this field, producing kites capable of human flight. Today, kites are often used as a considerably greener alternative to airplanes for taking aerial photographs of architecture or geology. Some people think we may one day use kites to produce electricity. THE CHALLENGE: This green challenge is to produce photographs of OREC from at least 75m high, using a digital camera, kite line, and materials costing no more than $5 |
